Your group will have a friendly welcome from a knowledgeable and qualified local guide who they will have to themselves. The Official Guide for the Walled town of Conwy will take them round the UNSECO World Heritage Site of Conwy Castle and Conwy Town making sure that they don't miss a thing. They will get so much more out of their visit to Conwy Castle with an expert on hand to describe the incredible events that took place here, to help explore and interpret the building and to answer all their questions. We will walk in the footsteps of kings, queens, freedom fighters and townsfolk as we explore this mighty structure. Together we will interpret and unpack the features of this unique building and hear the stories from its' incredible past. We will climb a tower and experience the castle wall walk as we visit the mighty defences, royal suite of apartments, the Great Hall, the Chapel, the Prison Tower, the King's chamber and much more. We will discover town walls, the oldest house in Wales, the smallest house in Britain, the finest Elizabethan townhouse in Britain, Telford's stunning suspension bridge, Stephenson's railway bridge, the bustling harbour, Lancaster Square, the famous statue of Llywelyn the Great, St Mary's Church, and the high street. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the rich history and beauty of Conwy. Please note: trade partners will need to pre-book and pay for castle entry for their group directly through Cadw. Please be aware that parts of the walk include some steep slopes and uneven ground. Access to parts of the castle is via steep spiral staircases and some sections are at height with significant drops to the side.
Cancellation Policy
To secure a booking which is to be paid by invoice please email or telephone james@conwyguidedtours.com/T 07899168719 Trade partners booking 90+ days - but no more than a year - in advance can do so by using the booking link on the website (full payment to be made online when booking) Bookings being made more than a year or less than 90 days in advance can only be made by contacting james@conwyguidedtours.com or 07899168719 In the event of cancellation, clients should expect to pay the following: 14+ days before the tour - no charge 7-14 days before the tour - 50% of fee less than 7 days before the tour - 100% of fee Where payment has been received in advance, either in part or full, and Conwy Guided Tours are unable to fulfil the engagement we will contact the client to discuss a replacement guide or repayment When a tour includes visiting the interior of a paid attraction (eg Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr) entrance fees are not included in Conwy Guided Tours fees and should be arranged and paid for by trade partners unless specific arrangements have been agreed with Conwy Guided Tours
