Explore the Queen of Welsh Resorts on a walking tour with an Official Llandudno town Guide
Service Description
Your group will step into the story of Llandudno on a guided walk that gives a friendly welcome and brings this elegant seaside town to life. Together we will stroll along the sweeping promenade with uninterrupted views of the pier and the dramatic limestone headlands of the Great and Little Ormes, before pausing at the historic Great Orme Tramway station — a true Victorian marvel. We will wander through the charming old town and down Mostyn Street, the bustling heart of Llandudno, as we uncover how a once small community of miners and farmers was transformed into one of Britain’s best-preserved Victorian seaside resorts. Along the way, we’ll hear about the fascinating characters, bold vision, and clever design that shaped the “Queen of the Welsh Resorts,” making this not just tour not just a tour, but a journey through time. Visitors will leave Llandudno not just enthused by the town's colourful stories but loving the place and their experience here. Tours can be bespoke to the group and highlights can include: Winston Churchill at St George’s Hotel The 5,500 year-old skeleton found on the Little Orme A discovery that changed British history Llandudno's story: from copper mines and farms to an elegant Victorian resort The unique Great Orme tramway Llandudno at war during World War 2 The school that became a whiskey distillery
